Hybrid Home + School Model
The Hybrid Home + School Program at Bridges to Opportunity Academy is a homeschool alternative for K–12 students, providing the structure and support of on-campus instruction two days per week. Students attend classes on Tuesday and Thursday and complete teacher-directed learning at home on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with a parent serving as a learning partner.
Bridges to Opportunity Academy provides the curriculum, lesson plans, progress monitoring, report cards, and transcripts, ensuring families receive a structured and approved educational experience supported by qualified educators. Parents focus on mentoring, supporting, and reinforcing learning, rather than creating lessons or tracking coursework independently.
Students receive instruction in core academic subjects, including:
Math
Science
Language Arts
Social Studies
In addition, students participate in:
Enrichment opportunities
Project-based learning
Entrepreneurship experiences
Electives and school activities
The Hybrid Home + School model maintains the same academic expectations and standards as all Bridges to Opportunity Academy programs, while offering a flexible learning environment designed to meet students' and families' needs.
